Arca Swiss Dovetail Alteration

The objective of this project was to replace the current dovetail section of an 8x10 Arca Swiss frame with a raised dovetail capable of fitting a smaller Arca Swiss model. The base of the frame was machined down to allow for the adapting bracket to securely mount in place. Three screws secure the bracket in place.

The design integrated the standard's current relief pockets into the adapting bracket. This keeps the new dovetail from shifting or moving under extreme stress or torque.
